Take Your Negotiation And Settlement Skills To The Next Level
Negotiation Mastery For the Legal Professional
Advanced Legal Negotiation Training
How did you learn how to negotiate case settlements? Maybe you took a negotiation course in law school. More likely, you followed a more experienced lawyer around to some settlement conferences and mediations. In that case, your knowledge and training in negotiation was a little ad hoc.
The truth is that 98% of litigated cases settle. Yet we, as lawyers, spend inordinate amounts of time thinking about and worrying over a trial that will probably not happen. Doesn't it make more sense to devote some time and effort to leveling up your negotiation skills?
You see, settlement negotiation has little to do with the law and nothing to do with legal principles. It is about behavioral economics, game theory, decision theory, cognitive neuroscience, emotions, Bayes Theorem, and host of other disciplines most lawyers have never heard about.
Negotiation Mastery for the Legal Professional covers many of these other disciplines, which is why it is the most advanced online legal negotiation course available.

Hi,
I'm Doug Noll
I was a civil trial lawyer for 22 years, and mediated my first case as a mediator in 1981. I tried over 200 jury trials, bench trials, and arbitrations, mostly complex business, commercial, and financial cases.
I earned my Master's Degree in Peacemaking and Conflict Studies and left a successful trial practice in 2000 to become a peacemaker and mediator.
I have been honored as a California Lawyer Attorney of the Year, Best Lawyers in America Lawyer of the Year, Encore Prize Purpose Fellow, International Academy of Mediators Sid Leezak Award of Excellence, and the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals Neutral of Year, among many other awards and recognition for my innovative ideas and work.
I have studied settlement negotiation for over 40 years and teach Decision-Making Under Uncertainty at Pepperdine's Straus Institute of Dispute Resolution.
